Gifts of Insurance
A gift of your life insurance policy is an excellent way to make a legacy gift to the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania. If you have a life insurance policy that has outlasted its original purpose, consider making a gift of your insurance policy to the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania. For example, you may have purchased a policy to provide for minor children and they are now financially independent adults. You may designate your legacy gift to establish a new endowment, support an existing endowment, or provide unrestricted support for the work of the Foundation.

Benefits of gifts of life insurance
- Receive a charitable income tax deduction
- If we retain the policy to maturity, or you name us as a beneficiary, once the policy matures, the proceeds of your policy will be paid to the Foundation, designated as you specify for the future of the Church.
- If the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania cashes in the policy, you will be able to establish your own endowment, build up an existing endowment of your choosing, or provide unrestricted support to the Foundation.
